Barclays gets down to business in Europe (on job cuts)

Mark Carney also could not muster up the same optimism as his counterpart in the US Fed, Janet Yellen on a day of gruelling testimony

Anyway, I think it’s important  what’s happening at Barclays..it is likely linked to the Bank having leveled up salaries across the retail and investment bank last year and it will be questioned though they brought back bigger bonuses on a tax pool jump by UBS

!2000 jobs under the guillotine, 7000 in the UK but I guess they are still counting jobs in the continent where they are shutting down/have shut down.
